Okay why is it that if you say you are a christian, its like you became this lush red carpet people have been dying to step on or strike a pose on, and when you complain they will be like" i thought you are good christian? with this pitying look in their eyes as if they just discovered you have identity crisis.
I am a christian does not mean that 1. you will slap me on one cheek and i will turn the other one(yes i know the bible says we should do that, but i haven't gotten there yet) 2.deliberately spoil my stuff everyday and expect me to always forgive(yeah i know ....forgive 70 x 70,i told you before i haven't gotten there yet,im working it out,will get there soonest)3. Not expect me to talk back when you run your mouth past its limit,even if it is to quietly tell you the door is behind you and begging to be used.
why am i ranting ? i will gist you.
So a friend of mine wanted to loan money from me,he had a penchant for never paying up,worse case scenario he will give you half the money he borrowed from you and the rest as Nigerians put it will enter voicemail. So he called again to borrow money and truth is i know he needed the money badly,i had the money to give him but i really had to make him pay up this time ,i had to.
so i said " kaycee i will give you the money,but its actually your sister's money,its payment for the ashebi she brought to my office yesterday since you say you will give me at the end of the month,just pay it into her account,i will call her now to tell her"
"my sister's money?
"uhm yeah,you said you will pay by the end of this month so no big deal she wont be mad" i didn't blame him for his apprehension every living thing knew his sister had"skion-skion" when provoked,and number one provocation will be not paying her money when you were supposed to.
" na wa for you o, i thought you were a christian? i say you should lend me money and you want to give me nkay's money,did i ask for her money?"
I was perplexed 1.what has being a christian got to do with it? 2.does it matter the human master of the said money?
"you don't have the right to give me conditions just because i asked for a loan,you know what? i don't need the money again,una wey be christian na wa,and he hung up, i didn't even realize my mouth was open.until i saw my reflection in the mirror.
